This team is reminding me of some of Skip's teams in the 90s. Battling it out the first half of the season (though we seemed to win most of those back then) and then coming on strong at the end of the season. Good job, Manieri.
and again, the friendly reminder. tuesday night, 6:30, lsu plays uno. i hope "the thread regulars" will be here. i know i will. if you cant make it to the zeph, you can climb aboard the bandwagon here!
I watched some of the game Saturday and was so happy to see the crowd and the atmosphere I remember. Anyone thinking about traveling to Hoover for the SEC tourney? :tigbas:
i agree. lsu has to play at the same level and maintain the same focus they have had the last two weeks to win. uno is not a team to be taken lightly. they've got some great bats so pitching has to be on.
I am curious as to the mindset of this team now that they swept 3 SEC opponents for three consecutive weekends. No doubt they would be confident, but hopefully not too confident against UNO. Hope they see that as a warm-up game against a good team for the post season competition
I am pretty sure I heard that UNO and LSU have the longest win streaks in the nation right now. Can anyone confirm?
There is nobody in the top 25 I know for sure. But since college baseball coverage sucks, that's all I can tell you.
