Great job by everyone. I come home to scan all the posts (in a very manner, obviously). Gives a great feel to how the game went. I nominate all of you for PBP men and women of the year.
holy crap ive never seen skip move in all his years at the box like he did yesterday. i guess those 2 no longer new hips have taken over. i would have never believed 3 weeks ago this team would have done a 180 and become a skips team and never felt they could lose regardless the situation. obviously its pulmonary's team. wow the team that came back twice from 7 runs down to tie and then go on to lose midseason yet never lose faith. not sure how they were able to succumb that. ill be honest. i lost faith for this year but certainly not longterm. LSU Baseball is truly something special. Im not sure how to explain it. regardless how postseason ends never lose sight how fortunate we are to have experienced such an era that will never be repeated at any time. all you fringe fans load aboard the bandwagon. its a fun ride.
yep, plenty of room on the bandwagon. even tho lsu lost the two ga games i was able to attend, i am still so glad i got to go to them. not just to be at the box two last times, but to watch a group of young men that learned to find themselves and go on an amazing run. and i am very happy that i was at the tulane game where they made their 180 and start the winning streak. that was a great game. needless to say, the drive back to ok was more enjoyable for me with that win. i have glued myself to the computer this year for every game, save for the three i went to, and one that i glued myself to the radio cause i was at another ball game. i have gone through every emotion listening to this team. happy, sad, amazed, exasperated, stunned, you name it! and tirk is right.....
I've been waiting for them to regain that swagger. I loved being able to actually hear the crowd on the radio again. That is a SWEET sound coming through those speakers, and one I have really missed the last couple of years. To all who went to the game, thanks for making The Box sound like The Box again.
