LSU Baseball vs. Auburn - Game 3

Let's make it simple to understand.
The language of your posts indicated you thought LSU had been untouchable at some point in its history and this edition of LSU Baseball had not attained that level of play.
The rest of us are simply pointing out that there is not now and never has been such a thing in college baseball, let alone at LSU. We have had great teams and good teams, but never untouchable teams.
Probably just a poor choice of words.

At any rate - this edition of LSU Baseball has set a school record of 4 SEC weekend sweeps in a row and the third longest winning streak in school history. Pretty damn strong team!!!!!

Now, back to regular programming. THIS LSU team is special. I think it may be hard for us to see, because it has been so long...and this team is different compared to the Gorilla Ball teams of the 90's. It's a different style, but deadly effective. None of those great teams of the 90's swept 4 SEC series...none of 'em.

There is a lot of baseball to be played...and that in itself is something that couldn't be said of late. We should cherish every minute of it.

That said, since it's been so long...exactly when does the announcement come pertaining to regional sites...and hosts? I assume it's after the tournies, but I'm sure someone here knows for sure.

We can get a little touchy about unreasonable expectations around here. Your defense is noted and the case against you has been dismissed. :thumb:

 

It's after the SEC tourney and we should host a regional. Don't be surprised to see UNO and Tulane here. It should be fun. I haven't looked at the top 8 seeds to know how much of a shot we would have at a super regional. I think we would have to have a little luck to host. But hey, one step at a time. It will be great to have a regional at the box for the last time!:thumb::lsup:
