Lsu baseball opening week

Jordan came through with a nice pop-up with bases loaded. What a guy!

Just asking; I don’t follow baseball. Seems like a deficiency that shouldn’t happen.

Coomes starts today. Bryce gets a rest. Til he pinch hits.

 

Hess did not have a good day. Pulled after 3 innings. I dont think he can have the same level in intensity as he does coming out of the pen.

We will see. Only his first start of 2018.

 

This is how i envisioned Hess as a starter.
Hes a max effort 2 inning guy.

So far 2 innings 70 pitches 8 runs 5 hits 6 walks 1 wild pitch 2 ks

And he's done. 2 and a third.

 

I didnt get to turn the game on until late. Did he have gas in 1 and 2?

 

Well no bc as a starter he has to manage his velocity instead of going all out. Hes not a manage type of guy obviously. Maybe he can learn.
