    Geaux Tigers!

    Two sweeps in a row!

Hawthorne thinks they're the best in the conference right now.

    Why not. He's probably right.

they've always been one of the most talented. At the beginning of they year, they found ways to lose games. Now they've grown up and are finding ways to WIN games.

The talent level has always been there.

if i heard right at the beginning of the game, the tigers have not had back to back sweeps since 1998.

With a 32-16-1 record and with a 8-6-1 record against Top 25 teams, LSU is getting eerily close to sealing their spot in a regional. They play .500 ball here on our, they are easily in.

And if they play .600 ball, the NCAA will reward them with as a regional host (b/c of the Box's last season). They'd get a courtesy call.

Wishful thinking, but one last Regional at the Box would be a sweet end for a grand old venue.

Going in to this series we needed to go 6-3 or better in our last nine SEC games to finish with a winning record. Now that's down to 3-3. I don't want to underestimate the competition but the next two series are lighter than the last 3-4 we've played.

I wouldn't rule out a regional at the Box but will wait to speculate after next week's series. Maybe the stars are aligning for a final run at the Box. If that happens...I want tickets!!!

    BTW...UGA 11 - Ole Miss 2 (bottom of 8)

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but you can be a 2-seed and still host, right?

If so, I have no doubt the NCAA would make it a point to seed LSU with a 1-seed not large enough to host their own regional.
