When I saw those numbers come out on the 10th of January it was one of those things I filed away just to see how they they came out when the actual results were published. It was a situation where I thought that they were trying to ride the "no one wants to see SEC vs SEC" train as long as they can. It really was an interesting storyline to watch. I saw it starting that night with just an observation from one pundit and I wondered how many would follow suit. It wasn't something I dug up for this thread. I've had it for a while now. Thanks for the opportunity to demonstrate my fanaticism. I don't need to look it up. I will pose this thought. With ESPN taking the MNF broadcast, how long will it be before the playoffs and SB end up on cable? When current contracts expire with the broadcast networks is my assumption. ------- Still chuckling over media hound...
if the challenger actually did something to deserve the rematch in some sort of a playoff or plus 1 format it might. It's like we beat Alabama, picked them up and carried them to New Orleans and they stabbed us right as we put them down, they get the gold. Oh well screw it, good thing about Bama is we play them every year, and we have pretty much owned them for over a decade. 9-4 since 2000.
