Can you name the teams that have scored 30 points or more in Baton Rouge since Les Miles has been here?

It's been done by 5 different teams, 2 of those teams have done it more than once, 1 of those teams has done it more than twice. Only 1 of these teams comes from the state of Alabama.

    Go....

Working from memory here....I think Arkansas has done it the most. Ole Miss, I believe, has done it twice. The "1 from the state of Alabama" is the gotcha, I think it is Troy. Georgia and Tennessee make 5.

I protest your wanting to keep LaSalle out of the discussion.

Nothing means more in this game than some Golden Girls. Can't speak for you saps that actually attend these events but for us arm chair heroes, how many times the TV sheauxs them Golden Girls usually defines the nature of our play. Watch the barn and the swamps and you will find there were minimal to zero viewings of the Golden Girls. Watch that other purple team and souf click and notice that those events was loaded in golden girl sightings. Happen to play purty decent in or around 75 % of the quarters offered. We looked like shit against cupcakes because??? Limited Golden Girls.

It is the parity of the home team in this contest and the more they sheaux them ladies dressed in less, on the TV's, the gooder we look. If CBS can avoid acting like a bunch of fags and sheaux some leg? We might just need some GG's on Gameday to help teeter the totter.

    I'll be watching

    And the beat goes on:

“Alabama, gosh, they look like they could beat a couple of those NFL teams that I’ve watched on Sundays,” Spurrier said on The Dan Patrick Show. “I think a lot of the oddsmakers out there, that usually know what’s going on, I’d guess Alabama would be favored by a little bit.”

    Glenn Guilbeau:

Mettenberger is a very disappointing 12th in the SEC in passing efficiency and just ninth in the league in passing yards a game with 177
    ...
it would be nice if Mettenberger could just hit a deep one or two, particularly early in the game, and it would be just as nice if one of the receivers actually held on to the football.
    ...
But even if they don't, the fact that LSU is throwing deep often still helps the running game. ... if LSU's receivers get a step on Alabama cornerbacks a couple of times Saturday and Mettenberger overthrows them, Nick Saban will still take some defenders off the line. This will help LSU's running game
    ...
"Well, we have to," Miles said when he was asked if he was going to try to throw deep against Alabama from a questioner who obviously thought he would be crazy to do so. "Those defenses that hang the line of scrimmage, you have to have the ability to challenge them vertically. And we're going to continue to call those plays"
