Respectfully disagree, although quite a few players contributed. We have a team loaded with some of the nation's best recruits, yet only half of them are used to their potential. I'm talking about the defense. Miles is starting to remind me of Jim Mora coaching the 80's and 90's Saints, asking the defense to win games and the offense not to lose them. I don't care that we've played two of the nation's best defenses in the last two games, 23 points in two games is unacceptable, and its mostly on the play calling. Its great to be able to challenge an opponent's defense physically, but you've got to challenge them mentally as well.
True dat. There were plays to be made on both O and D that were not. I disagree when people blame refs. There are far more plays/coaching decsions with more game implications than calls. Calls went both ways. I just dislike conservative coaching. IF LSU was aggessive on D we win. This is the same damn thing we have seen a few times over the last few years.
If you put a qb and offense on the field that takes advantage of opportunities te personal foul doesn't mean as much. No qb and piss poor game management/play calling leads to what is seen tonight.
"Joke we got for a DC"? You must be kidding. Chavis has consistently put together great defenses for us, year after year. He held Alabama to 13 points in regulation—with largely freshmen. Give me a break.
it was a great game. However, the personal foul after the Alabama fumble probably cost LSU the win. And i don't think that PF would have been called if 'Bama and LSU's roles would have been swapped. Another tainted 'Bama win.
You gonna blame Quinn for dropping passes or Dupree for dropping passes and not knowing where a sideline is? The players were our in position to win this game. Fact.
Yeah I do, that personal foul after the Yeldon fumble I was 30 feet away, no foul. No PI calls at the end when it was clear as day.
