Tim Brando was talking about it today saying that CBS and ESPN are in negotiations whereby CBS gets to move the Nov 5th game to a night game and ESPN gets first dibs on any SEC game next year to show at night on their network.
That would be EPIC. It should be - if CBS had any leverage they should do whatever they can to make it a night game. The ratings would go through the roof for them.
Well ESPN is holding all the cards here. CBS is the one begging. I agree, this needs to be a night game.
If it were a home game I would agree. SInce it isn't, I don't know that it makes a hell of a lot of difference.
Didn't Brando acknowledge tigerdroppings as his "source"? If CBS puts the game on a 6 day hold Monday, then I'll up the chances to 1 in a 1000 because it's plausible that at least they are trying to do something.
Night game just gives Bama more of an advantage since it's in T-town. I hope it stays a 2:30 start time.
