LSU/Bama ESPN Hype

This is really very simple. Game being broadcast by CBS, there is NO CHANCE of game day being there. None, zero, zilch, nada. It simply won't happen.

 

Yes, we are aware that you think that. I'm just telling you that it has happened before. They'll look awfully foolish passing on the game of the century, but it's their loss.

 

I can't believe we have to wait two weeks.

 

I think that because it is true. They contractually cannot promote a game that is not on their network.

 

I'm not sure whether you're kidding or not, but gameday goes to CBS broadcasted games every year.

They were in Columbia last year and at LSU two years ago, plus Ive heard Herbstreit on two different radio shows say theyll be in Tuscaloosa. Not only are they doing gameday there, but theyre doing extended coverage starting on Thursday - according to Herby fwiw. :milesmic:

 

So that contractual stuff was made up?
