I'm glad to see Randy Livingston on the list! A fellow Newman Alum!

I would not put Hammick in over Venell Singleton. Singletion was more than a role player. Now, I agree with Sims, however.

No way. Most players on the 90's team would not have a spot on that 80's team.

no team you could make up from the 80s could stop shaq and cj with livingston at point.

the only thing thatll swing the 80s way is if they had put cj there. they should have since he only played a few months in the 90s.

just checked... hammick averaged 15/10 in 93. singleton couldnt touch it. now geert did just get to play that one year because of shaq though.

singleton was only valuable as a defensive stopper which is important but he was never a go-to guy. to me thats a role player.

The same shaq and cj that could'nt get past the second round of the ncaa.
I'll take Macklin and Williams at forwards, Martin and Reynolds at guard and Mitchell playing center. Shaq would be a tough matchup, I'll agree with that.

I remember Tom Conklin (C) from the 60's. Our first 7 footer. Who as I remember led the nation in FOULS. It was unusual for him to finish a game. Fouled out mostly.::hihi:

F Rudy Macklin, F DeWayne Scales, G Ethan Martin, C Greg Cook, and G Howard Carter was the best lineup that ever played for LSU and they could have taken Shaq and Jackson.

No doubt about it. Shaq would win the rebounds, CJ would win the 3-pointers, but the 1980 team would have won the game . . . easily.

I thought Rick Mattick was LSU's first 7-footer.
