Malzahn on LSU game... https://articles.al.com/auburnfootb...tes_gus_malzahns_previews_auburn_lsu_2017.amp
I honestly can't see LSU winning this game. Auburn is a hot team, with an improving QB. Right now LSU just does not have the QB, OL, WR's, or DL to win this game. Not to mention Guice isn't healthy. In order to win the OL must make holes to get those consistent 3-5 yards gains. Guice rarely has a hole, a lot of people have said Guice is folding this year to save himself for the NFL. I don't at all see that. He is running just as hard as before, just not getting any holes to make much happen. Our WR play must get better, all we have is Chark. We need one or two out of Gage, Davis, Sullivan, or Dillon to step up. The DL lacks the quality depth so they will no doubt tire with Auburn's tempo. I hope after last week we can come out and play LSU football. Play hard, with a sense of pride and fight. If we lose, I don't want to see a team that lays down. But rather a team that will fight till the end.
The leap is a fixture now... http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2017/10/lsu_football_russell_gage.html#incart_river_mobile_home
On LSU: "They're usually one of the more talented teams in our league." It would be disrespectful to Coach O to just say we suck. But maybe, just maybe, they're overlooking us.
Auburn overlooking LSU? They circle this game and the other team from their state as soon as the schedules are released- just like we do.
