That Auburn team won by the skin of their ass. EVERY WEEK. 2019 LSU laid scorched earth on the entire nation. Not that that statement proves it’s a bad comparison. I just need to remind myself how awesome that was.
I’m known in here as Captain Negative - prob justified- but I think this season is an anomaly. Too much distraction , lack of focus . Is everything we’re seeing excusable ? No, but 2020 has been a crap storm on ice
The most important thing is that LSU nation doesn’t let this define us. We will learn and grow and get tougher and smarter bc of this. We are defined by elite players, passionate fans, game day atmosphere, Championships, I could go on and on. This game or even this whole season does not define us. We know who we are. Let the rivals and haters talk bc at the end of the day, it means absolutely jack shit. They hate us cause they ain’t us y’all. We’ll be back and we will damn sure not forget anything they say. It motivates us. That’s us. Don’t let anyone tell you different.
It would be easier to accept if we hadn't gone from the penthouse to the outhouse almost overnight. I know we lost a ton of talent, but there's no excuse for the way we are playing. Everyone has to share a portion of the blame.
