Last week was ugly this week was far from it. Penalties were ugly, defensive play late in 2nd quarter was ugly, offense at times but this was not an ugly game by any means. If anything I think it was a breakout game for Burrow and he’ll only get better!

I understand what you're saying. But, again, it could be there trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.
I wouldn't call it ugly but a lot of correctable mistakes. Defense played great at nutcutting time and oline and burrough held their poise. Against good teams I don't care how we win just win especially on the road. Against inferior opponents you eed to play better so backups can get their experience. We need to get back up brennan some quality touches in a game just so we have two qb ready.
Great win. It's nice to see an offense, although not perfect, which operates with confidence in its quarterback. Stevie E isn't running a qb proof attack. He's telling his signal caller, 'Let's go get it.' I wasn't a big fan of his hire, but I must say I'm impressed with Stevie E. I can see what he's trying to do. It's not the Sham Cameron thumb up the ass predictability nor the Oh Canada Three Card Monty. There's a structure, a response to what defenses are giving. Again, I'm impressed.
