This LSU-Auburn game should be the most watched game in all of college football year in & year out. No other game consistently delivers such a great contest.
Personally I think 5.6 million viewers seems a bit low. When you consider there are probably a couple million viewers out of Louisiana alone.
Not everyone has cable and I don't think they can say there were a certain number of viewers. Maybe 5.6 million TV's were on ESPN during the game? How do they factor in gameday parties or sports bars? There were definitely more than 5.6 million people watching that game.
I live in West Virginia (only until next week), and EVERYBODY was talking about the LSU/AU game. I'm seeing (just like Miami a few years ago) young black kids walking around the city of Pittsburg wearing LSU jerseys. I used to hate seeing so much Miami gear from kids who had no affiliation with even the state of Florida. But now,,,,,,it seems LSU is the team on the streets. Maybe with another crystal this year we'll be America's College Team kinda like the Cowboys being America's Pro team.
I would hope that America has enough Sannity left in it to watch it over a show like Hannity and Colmes. I realize they weren't up against each other, but come on....politics suck!
i was at the asu georgia game and left it in the first quarter to watch best decision of my life even though if asu won id go back and rush the field but that game was insane and tigers are number 1 in my heart GEAUX TIGERS
