I use the hotels in Fort Smith. Now that they have completed Interstate 540 over Boston Mountain it's an easy hour drive compared to the old bumper-to bumper two and a half hour drive on narrow, twisting, dangerous Hwy 71.
Yeah, my parents live on 71 near the old Artist Point gift shop. I work in Fort Smith, and yeah it's probably easier to get a hotel in the river valley than it would be to get one in northwest Arkansas, only thing is, there aren't very many of them. It is a lot shorter drive than having to go to Little Rock also, depending on which direction you take. Their campus is about a half hour drive from my mom's house, so I'll probably do my tailgate there then leave for the game. At least the stadium's nicer. Still have to listen to that stupid woopigsooie bullsh*t. :hihi:
Ummm...no. :hihi: you'd have to be born into it and have it brainwashed into you from an early age. Otherwise...it's pretty damn gay. :hihi: Maybe I'm partial because I'm stuck in the middle of it. :yelwink2:
not any more brainwashed than Geaux, which only means something in cajun, but thats why i love the LSU fan base, you don't care what others think about you. i wish more hog fans were like that instead of always wondering why ESPN, CBS and the whole world hates us. Most hog fans remind me of a Harvey Danger song. Paranoia Paranoia everybody's coming to get me.
8 real good Defensive players will not be back this year from a team that gave up 41 points to LSU last year. They will be without a good DE, two LB's(Seems like these two have been there forever) and both Safeties. These 5 players finished with a total of 329 tackles. As with last year on this side of the ball, depth will come into play again this year. One the other side of the ball, the loss of the WR's Childs, Wright and Adams might be felt a little. Along with a couple OL.
