These articles trashing LSU talent are such BS. Only about 1% or less of NCAA Division I football players make NFL rosters, maybe less. There is so much competition for so few spots in the NFL.

Look at other major programs and what do you see? Any major program you look at has just as many "disappointments" as LSU if not more. Ohios State...I realize Gholston, Ted Ginn, and others have just been lighting the league up. Notre Dame...Brady Quinn just got dished off after 2 years...how many "studs" has ND populated the NFL with over the last 5 year? USC...besides Carson Palmer, Troy Polamalu and maybe one or two others, how many players have been disappointments (Leinart, Bush, LenDale White, etc)? Texas has Ricky Williams and Vince Young and exactly who performing at an elite level in the NFL?

LSU puts out as much quality talent as any other major program if not more.

Every school has disappointments, including LSU. But that doesn't mean schools like Texas, Ohio State, and USC don't have studs as well. For the most part LSU has put out some very good players though, it's just the highly drafted ones that don't produce get remembered instead of them. It happens with every great program. At least we have been putting 1st rounders out there consistently. How they perform in the NFL is more about them rather than what school they went to.
