Herman to Texas (Herman's whole early coaching history is in Texas, including as a coach for the Horns

O to LSU (O's whole early coaching history is in South Louisiana, where he is from)

Texas, want to trade? Texas laughs their asses off. F you Texas

Anyway, just beat Bama, O. We will build you a statue down here. Hell i will build one myself. I'm sure many people will

I tell you what, if O puts the right coaches in place I would be on board with Coach O as LSU's coach. He just fits. He is from South Louisiana and I guarantee you LSU will not be losing the a lot of the instate kids. He could put a wall around this state. And then with the right coaches in place on D and O, I just don't think we are going to get Herman because of Texas. That's a better job, like it or not, more money, own network, and it's Austin. Hope he can handle the pressure though because it's greater than it is here.

He has to beat Florida first. If he cant accomplish that, then all bets are off.

We already have a wall. Orgeron would build a roof.

I really want Jimbo. Tom Herman would be ok I think. Orgeron is a nice Plan B I think. He seems to have learned from earlier mistakes. I have no doubts he would find a creative offensive mind to bring in and run the offense.

I was all in for Herman and Jimbo when Miles was at the helm. I still think Herman has to be the #1 target but if Eaux can keep the Tigers rolling, he could bump Jimbo off the list. Fisher has some problems on defense and the O line.

People need to get off the whole we need an offensive minded coach. We just need a good coach who will hire good assistants and trust them to make the calls. At end of the day that's all we need.

I agree. With a CEO as a coach. One who is a great ambassador and recruiter and doesn't overly dabble with the 3 phases. Orgeron can be that person. Give him a few years and hopefully Aranda will be ready. That defense last night was nothing short of awesome. Lets see how our new offense plays out now that other schools see our new wrinkles. I'm optimistic.

All of the talk in North Texas right now is that Texas will definitely fire Strong and will certainly hire Herman. That may, in fact, happen, but I do know that the LSU football program is in much better shape to win immediately than Texas is. We simply have superior athletes in place.

The question is, will Herman want to match wits and egos with Saban every year?
