Haven't seen to much talk about it, so here it is. How will the game be won? What does LSU have to do to beat PSU? What does PSU have to do to beat LSU? My guess and hope is that the month to get ready for this game give LSU the edge. Looking over some stats, PSU is better than LSU. THat doesnt mean jack crap though as we all know LSU had many many issues this year. I really hope for the players of LSU, CLM and us fans that LSU comes out like the 5star team they are and shine something bright. So many times I saw good drives end b/c of a bone head pen or a dumb play call. If we can keep the mistakes VERY low, I see no reason for LSU to roll...
I think you mean to say, you asee no reason why LSU shouldn't roll... On to the post, PSU may have better stats but noone they faced is of the caliber of the 3 teams we faced and had a chance to win in all 3. Iowa is the best play they saw all year and no disrespect to Iowa but their no Bama or Florida. I look for ridley and holliday to have big games and I think our defense gives us the edge.
Can you even name one player on Penn State's team? Don't kid yourself. Penn State is good. And so are we. Should be a great game.
How is LSU a 5-star team to you? To me that means we are a team made up of 5-star talent. And we aren't.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think PSU sucks by any means... but our defense especially the secondary is the type of defense that gave PSU trouble in their 2 losses. Key will be consistent drives and points... but I think our defense can hold PSU down if we play like we did the Bama and Florida games.
Penn State lost to Iowa and Ohio State, two teams that made BCS Bowls. Iowa's D has much more talent that our D this season. Ohio State also has more talent on D than we do this year.
Both of which imo lose their bowl games. I think LSU will fair well in our bowl just like the last four years with LSU being the underdog.
I wouldn't bet on Ohio State and Iowa losing their bowl games. Not saying it's not going to happen, but I wouldn't put money on it, myself.
