Ain't no one coaching 5 years at Kansas except that Fatman mangino. Everything regarding Kansas football is cheap.

Actually, I really like Miles. I was just joking in my post he might have been stubborn and hard-headed. But still, I think he in time will be fondly remembered for what he did and who he was Man.

There is a part of me that would like to see Les back at LSU as an I don't know... Brand ambassador.

I will cheer for him whatever he does.

I said no such thing. Shit, you seem to have a problem with reading something. Making up excuses and theories is one thing. Making up words and trying to put them in my mouth is another. Stop. You're far from qualified.

We're discussing ROI here, Catch up, or fall behind. I don't care which.

The point is this. You can't diminish what he's accomplished. The return on the investment will be felt for years and years to come--both on the athletic side of things and the academic side as well.

Do the increases in enrollment and what's being offered to students now-a-day...does that go away?
The improvements Bama has seen in facilities? Do those go away?
The tradition(s) he's built upon. Do those go away?

If you're suggesting that the next coach won't be as good as Saban don't strain yourself. That's a pretty hot take. But, that has nothing to do with ROI with Saban.

It's quite ironic ROI was being tossed around here because that was something you folks could grasp when he was hired. It was all about "no buyout!" "30+ million dollar deal." At that time I pointed to the ROI at OU under Stoops and encouraged you to watch.

And now I'm getting a "lecture" on ROI? That's going full taint, furd.

...had 'em in the top five in his time. I don't believe is a barren waste land of a football program. It just needs the right guy.

I've never been there but I hear that Lawrence is a lot better place to spend 3 to 5 years than Starkville. Still, Kansas is like Kentucky but with wheat instead in bluegrass.

On the same note eight wins in Lawrence is about the same in Starkville--job security.

8 wins at Ks is a tall order. Not sure where he will find them.

I was speaking solely in terms of football program since they are funded independently. I don't correlate general enrollment outside of football scholarships with program success. I know I don't encourage my child to go to LSU just because of the football program. I guess its true, it really is all you guys have.

Dead end job for a dead end offense — makes sense to me.
