For his era, hands down it was Max Fugler.

Modern era, I'll go with 4-year starter Ben Wilkerson.

    Marvin "Moose" Stewart.

    AFCA All American 1935-36

I met his grand daughter in Monterey several years ago and back then dude was still kickin'!

She said he's a tough old bird but a wonderful grandfather.

From Scout.com: Dorsey named to AFCA All-America team

"Dorsey is the first Tiger since Corey Webster in 2003 and 2004 to be named first-team All-America in back-to-back years. LSU defensive back Tommy Casanova is the only player in school history to earn first-team All-America honors three times. Casanova earned his All-America honors in 1969, 1970 and 1971.

Other two-time first-team All-Americas in LSU history include: end Gaynell Tinsley (1935-36), center Moose Stewart (1935-36), halfback Billy Cannon (1958-59), linebacker Warren Capone (1972-73), running back Charles Alexander (1977-78), split end Wendell Davis (1986-87), and Corey Webster (2003-04)."
