Don't worry about them being focused. They will be focused, maybe tired from all the running CLM is giving them, but make no mistake he has their full attention!
Something tells me this will lead to ultimate team building and unity going forward and that everybody on our schedule better be ready. JJ just has to play decent QB to guarantee us a victory against any opponent we play this season. Btw, LSU will dominate both sides of the line of scrimmage and will be why the Ducks do not beat LSU.

Couple comments from what I saw or thought I heard. I didn't think Claiborne's comments were any surprise. That's what you expect after something like that. The interview with Lee where he commented about how everything has stayed the same over his five years sort of leads me to believe the offense isn't going to change much. Certainly I'd expect some new wrinkles. Every coach does that for every game. It's called "coaching" I didn't realize the "running" punishment was for the WHOLE team, that's smart!! Also, now I understand there was no practice the next day and it's sort of a "tradition" to sneak out that night. So that's not a really big deal. Just that people screwed up this time. It sounds like this whole thing was within the frame work of what's acceptable at LSU (Except for the violence). Kleinpeter said as many as 50 players were out that night. So this really was most of the team.
Baker and Lee have made similar comments that make me feel this way also. Us vs the world mentality never hurts your chances.
Davenport just recently made the move to OL because he couldn't compete for a spot on the DL...for which he was recruited as a 5*. He wasn't in the running for much PT this year on the OL...if any.
I don’t expect our offense to change much in terms of trickery or anything of that nature. We will still run a pro style offense, the play selection will be different and the ability to make adjustments to the defense will be different and much better I might add – That’s called “coaching” I also expect our players (especially the QB’s) to play at a higher level, as we will run the plays that compliment more of their strengths. Like I said before, it was nothing more than “boys being boys” last night of camp and two a days, last weekend before school and studies, and it was a players tradition, following traditions especially by the leaders help develop team comradery, unfortunately It was a good night gone bad Not sure if you are trying to take a shot at LSU here, but I hope not because, with what has taken place up in Eugene over the past years, you guys do not have much room to go running your mouth about what is and isn’t acceptable behavior
