Hawthorne and Hanagriff said it could have gone either way. Away from home it looks like the home dog got the call.
and if Hawthorne's willing to admit it could go either way, that leads me to believe it was 100% a charge.

I guess the better question is if it was 3-1, why was the guy engaged with the defender taking the shot? I am blindly being critical because I didn't see the highlights, so I could be wrong on all this.
None of us did Hawthorne was our eyes. During the postgame recap Ford did say it could have gone either way, but that type of call almost ALWAYS goes in favor of the offensive player. Honestly, charges are one of the worst things about basketball. They obviously have to be called, but I hate that the game comes down to who can make a flop look better.
Overall about as expected. LSU hung tough with only 3 minutes to go in the game. More assists than turnovers. Step in the right direction.
