What they need to do is to move the Arkansas game to earlier in the season and then schedule a Towson or a Sam Houston type game for the week following the Alabama game. Both teams put so much of themselves into that game and its such a physical battle that not even the 70's Steelers would be up to par the following week
The thanksgiving game to make it fair should be rotated between all the teams. That's fair. This isn't.
Why does there have to be a Thanksgiving Day game at all. Thanksgiving is a day for pro football watching for most of the country. College football games that day would be pretty much an afterthought unless LSU and ATM were both in the Top 10
That's completely fair as well, if A&M wants it so bad, bring back the aTm vs UT longhorn game. Florida plays Miama every year why can't those 2 douchesquads
Because Texas still thinks they are punishing their little brother by not playing with them anymore. Texas may need to help themselves out and stop the arrogance soon.
The days of there being many redshirted players at all will soon be very limited. Most players don't stay 4 years, let alone 5. And look at it from the players' perspectives: They want to play football their freshman years, not sit on a bench. They are competitors, and they want to compete against the best in the country--not sit. The players don't want to redshirt. Would you? Maybe you should try letting Cam Cameron do the thinking about the QBs (and how much running they'll do) and not predict season-ending injuries for our 1st and 2nd team QBs.
