I would go with "the same." But with more respect from our foes than we garnered in '04. I feel that most of our opponents are pretty jazzed to play LSU and in fact, are intimidated by us, as well.

Our offense didn't suck last year, but our defense did. Sucks...

Our skill positions on offense were woefully young this year, and we all know how we feel about the QB position. It was bad. I felt awful almost getting into an argument with my mom on Thanksgiving night when she actually was suggesting that Jennings is playing well--this was about 30 seconds before his interception. He played better against the Aggies than he had in several of the games this year, but still...

That was before Les got scared to play to win and started playing not to lose. I think he had an anurysm after the '08 season. Watch the '07 NC game. Totally different offense than now

saban is still too damned conservative for my liking. but thank god he is.

our offense most always sucks. so it didnt last year. it will again next year and about 8 of les' 11 years. regardless, that interception wasnt jennings fault. the effort by dural was terrible. he gave up on a 2 yard slant route?

but yeah jennings is still horrible and we should have had harris set up for a passing game next year. but that shit is shot again.

for the record, dural is a shitty route runner and a possibly worse blocker.

It seemed like every other year was a down year for Saban and I commented on his shortcomings. The current Saban haters were Saban lovers and told me I was a fool. Dude isn't perfect, neither is Miles. I'm sure at the time you were excusing 8-4; now you wanna crucify him for it?

And for the record, I still feel pretty strong that Miles walked into a program on top of the heap; are you also saying he didn't?

It sucked in 05-06. Jamarcus was a freak who never put it together.

Since 2002, you know how many times Oakland finished above .500 ball? None. I always wondered if Jamarcus would have went somewhere else.

A friend of mine went there to observe the Oakland coaching, he got there a little before 7 am, 8 am, no coaches, around 8:30 some started to wonder in. Some he said looked like they had been on an all night drunk. He had never seen a Pro organization operate like that, ever.
