    LSU has dropped all the way to 9 in the playoff rankings. It is on ESPN right now. Bama is up to 2.

    Well, barring a miracle that gets LSU back in the top 4, aiming for the Sugar Bowl wouldn't be so bad.

    Figured it wouldn't be out of the top ten. Still a remote shot and at least it's still a shot this late in the season.

    Even after the playoff committee has taken effect, it still holds true that the earlier you lose the better off you are. Regardless, I will be rooting hard for some top ten losses in the weeks to come.
