Very good post LaSalle. I'm not ready to predict that we will make the SECCG as we have a hell of a gauntlet to run in the next 5 games. All of the teams we will play are capable of beating us and will be playing as hard as possible to beat us. We have the bulls eye painted on our back. The schedule is not our friend. I do think our chances are good though. However if we do make the CG and face FU I don't think the rematch will be in their favor as much. First I don't expect Grier's appeal to be heard or approved. Second I think we have much more room to improve than FU. We left a lot on the field Saturday and physically dominated them. With the exception of our own mistakes the game isn't close. Also their whining after the game gives us a chip on our shoulder. If we make the SEC CG we make the final 4.
While yes any of the last 4 can beat us, I also think we can beat each of them - but probably not all 4. It's a really tough 4 week period. If we beat Bama the hangover will catch us in old Piss. But if Bama is a loss we will regroup and bring sadness to the grove I think it's likely Bama will lose another this season so we still make the SEC CG. - and beat Fla AGAIN!!! Final 4 - LSU, Baylor (Baylor - TCU winner), Clemson (they get Fla St at little death valley), Utah. The Big-WTF# is left out when they knock each other out. However, if Utah stumbles Big WTF# winner is in.
Beating Bama is more important than anything this year. If we do that, we'll win the division. I still think we'll lose 1 game, but that will be ok if we beat Bama. Make it to Atlanta and we'll most likely get a rematch for Florida. Win and we're in the playoffs.
