went and looked it up for you. bama -8.5. should move quickly towards the tigers once it is released.

this is a scary game to bet. but i could see a 42-3 type of game.

I'll be very surprised if Tulane scores 10 points on this defense. I look for another ULL type game with LSU scoring 45 or so.

    LSU rarely covers.

    Take the points.

I saw somewhere today that Tulane is averaging 15 points a game and 37 against. I would think LSU could hang 37 pretty easy, probably more. The question is how many points does the 2nd/3rd string defense allow?

It is a home game for LSU so you do not have travel restrictions on how many players can travel. So they can play 3rd-4th team once the game is in hand.

I still don't see Tulane putting up more than 14-17 points.

That would mean LSU would have to put up 45-55 pts.
Not sure what the over is but if I bet LSU I would bet the over too just in case.

As a current Tulane MBA student, I must say I've done quite well in earning some of my tuition money back by laying the points against Tulane. However I'm going to stay away from this one because by the time we pull the starters (halftime?) it will give them enough time to claw their way to a few FGs and leave me uneasy. In all honesty Tulane is absolutely terrible but because LSU does not want to risk injuries for next week, I would caution taking LSU on the points.

Side note:I did get my undergraduate degree from LSU before you start bashing me as a Tulane student

I bet Tulane +21 against USM - Loser.
Yes LSU doesnt cover, but there is going to be some young kids playing in this game who dont get to play much, they will try to score.
So from a man who saw his bookie today to collect some winnings.
Dont touch this game with a 10 foot pole. There are MUCH better plays out there.
I would wait to see what the O/U is.

True LSU doesnt cover much BUT this one is a risky play.
PLus if you bet LSU you will be cheering for them NOT to score.
    That isnt fun.

Nothing wrong with a Tulane MBA my friend. Good luck.... Tulane although awful at football, you cannot knock Tulane for its educational clout. It is a fine institution.
