Understandable.. considering we only trail them by 6 points. Another win on the road against a ranked opponent (Florida) will put us ahead of them in next weeks poll...

I wonder if Bama stays #2 in the APointless Poll?

Bama beat two ranked teams, all Missouri has done is post 50 points a game. We get to play Bama and the higher they are ranked, the better our SOS is going to be.

Dude, I'll be honest here. OU, Mizzou, Alabama have ALLLL looked a TON better than LSU has (so far) this season. LSU hasn't really played a game where I'd even have them ranked in the top 10 or 15. The ONLY reason LSU is in the top five is because we are reigning champs. If polls came out after four or five games, I'd hate to see where we'd be ranked.

EDIT: I'm not bashing the Tigers, just saying it how it is.

I disagree about Alabama. I think they had one really good half against Georgia. Other than that, they haven't been all that impressive, especially against Kentucky. They gave up the ball three times, and a better opponent probably would have beaten them.

Wow, you don't consider LSU a top 15 team? That's a bit far fetched.

You could almost call me a Bama fan for this season. I have watched every minute of all the big Alabama games and actually was in Tuscaloosa for the Tulane game and I completely agree with you. The Clemson win, although very dominant, showed that they don't have as much as those preseason magazines thought they did. The first half against Georgia was the best half of football I have ever seen, but LSU looked damn good in their win against VTech last year... I think the lack of depth on Bama's team will lead to a few losses down the road in November (LSU and Auburn)... :geaux:
