UNC has some sick talent on their D, even better than what we have. Haven't learned about their O yet.
It is so for every team. You got a point? A ton of talent? Four guys. Bama loses three guys, how complicated and wishful is your expectation to repeat as champions? Teams lose players every year. It ain't about who is going to be gone, it's about who is going to be here. If you follow recruiting, you will know that LSU has some very talented underclassmen who will be ready next year and two experienced junior quarterbacks. Watch and learn.
Vanderbilt and State are brutal? We've got West Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee and Ole Miss all at home. Only four games in opponents stadiums of which only Florida is likely to be ranked. With serious OOC opponents in West Virginia and North Carolina and playing in the SEC, our SOS will be through the roof. It's a schedule made for a championship run. All we need is a quarterback to emerge.
Well, to be fair, it will be mutiny for LSU-SIU. The guy can't wait for another chance to whine and moan about LSU. That's all he loves to do.
Sorry to say it, but I think we are ranked about as best as we can hope. It could get ugly, but if we can get some, make that any, offensive scheme, then we could surprise folks. UNC defense looks pretty good, but the offense is losing the QB and not so sure how that will do. Having said that....HOW ABOUT A LITTLE LOVE FOR NAVY..coming in at 25. Beat the SHEET outa Army...Again!!!!!! hwr USNA 1974
You are right I don't lie to myself like a delusional fan does which you seem to be. Kids are great, horrible coaching and horrible game plans. I would love to have a chance to see the Tigers back, nothing would please me more. You are like the other on this board when I was telling it like it was they were all busying hanging me up on a cross instead of actually watching the horrible games. No no LSU-SIU GC is a genius, he has it all worked out, he has a package for this and package for that. I take no honor in being right, but right I was about GC. The Mormon Prophecy has been fulfilled, Crowton's destruction of the offense is complete. Next step, crush the spirit of the Tigers to where it takes half a decade to rebuild.
I agree. I hope either JJ or RS or someone can step up to make that happen. The offensive line has to block enough for whoever it will be, and the running game will need to be effective as well. Given our underclassmen, and changes in the off season, I think we can make a good run for the crystal ball.:tigereye:
