Yep. The 2012 squad really seemed to rest on the laurels of 2011. It was essentially the same team with a supposed "improved" QB situation, and this idea was clearly not lost on the players. This year, no one is telling them that they're great, and many people are betting against them. I like it. Make them earn it.
And the sign on the weight room last season, put there by the coaching staff, spoke volumes about last year's group. If you under-perform, don't expect us to give you a ringing endorsement for early entry into the NFL.
Not this shit again. See Tommy Moffit's tweets on the sign. There wasn't much to it and it was way overblown. The players on the list all missed one class.
UGA has dropped two games to LSU in a row. (2009 Athens, 2011 SEC Championship Game) LSU has never defeated UGA in Athens twice in a row in CFB history. An early win over Les Miles 2013 puts UGA on cruise control With Saban's recruits.
That amounts to a whole mountain of who gives a fuck. Bama has beaten LSU in Brian Dennehy stadium once in the 21st century, and they needed help from te refs to do it. Do you expect anyone to favor LSU because of some meaningless historical statistic.
Ummmmm...what? So the guys we have now AREN'T as good as the handful of guys left from Saban's reign? You gotta watch that talk around here, bub. You'll spark a riot.
Nope. To some, Saban was so good that all he had to do was MEET a player and their talent level doubled.
