Don't laugh. THAT is THE reason I told someone I wouldn't touch this game. Not him being the starter, per se, but the JJ factor.
Lee was playing superb. Jj suits back up and jl regress' and the receivers drop seven passes. We went from an offense that espn was bragging about with a qb that they were saying was the best in the sec to a replay of last years offense over night.
I was hoping the dropped passes were the result of the trap game phenomenon. It's hard to get rev'ed up to go against a team like Kentucky. I hope the receivers sharpen up their focus when they face someone more formidable.
In no way will I agree that Lee playing badly is a result of JJ back in uniform. JL has been through a hell of a lot more in his tenure here. Lee is stronger than that, and if he isn't, how is he strong enough pin his ears back, and lead LSU to a game winning drive against Alabama in PBD stadium? Lee is solid in the head. I don't have any concerns with that. This is Lee's job. Lee's team. He knows that. Hopefully the tucky game was just a "bad game" all QB's have them. Let's hope that was as bad as it gets. Cause that would be great. I hope he bounces back strong with 200 yards and 3 TD's against the Gators! That would be sweet! --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=30.070377,-95.535089
