Keiland will have probably about 12-15 touches a game. 9-10 of them being carries, 3-4 being catches out of the backfield.

Remember, he made arguably his biggest impacts last season catching passes out there, because LB's have no chance to guard him and if they commit a safety, then that leaves a WR without a safety over the top, so he will be a big weapon for LSU.

I just don't see it happening.

I'm thinking more like 7-9 total touches per game.

Think about it, on average you only get 60-80 total plays per game.

We are not a pass happy offense so our total attempts will always be slightly on the low side.

I expect JJ to toss between 25-30 passes per game.

Scott is going to get at least 15-20 handoffs per game, plus 1 or 2 receptions.

You know JJ is going to run 5 or 6 times.

There is always going to be the 2 or 3 plays designed for Holliday.

And now with the possibility of Shep running some wildcat that will knock out a few opportunities.

We also have Murphy who may not play every game, but will probably average 2 touches per game.

There just isn't enough time to get him the ball that much.

Of course he could come out guns blazin and do it, but to this point, he hasn't really shown any consistency.

I didn't see much evidence of that vs Georgia Tech (if any at all), so I am not too worried we will be running into that issue this season. He really looked sharp looking off receivers and then going to what was actually the primary option on the pass play.

And as the Auburn game showed us, he can throw the ball around pretty good too. So not only is he a dangerous outside threat, Crowton can also dial his number on pass read plays too, which adds another threat level.

IMO, I expect us to run a lot of different formations offensively, because we have the personnel to do so.

You will see the traditional I-Formation with C Scott in the back getting his 15 carries a game. Dude is a battering ram.

You will see us line up with 1 back in the backfield- Murphy, KW or Holliday and we may run the option 2 or 3 times a game, or we can run it to the outside.

You'll also see the spread formation with 3 or 4 WR sets and we'll throw it all over the place.

My touches per game look like this:
    Scott 15-18 rushes
    KW/Murphy/Holliday - 6 carries per game combined
Jefferson/ Sheppard - 6 carries per game combined
So thats' roughly 30 running plays per game. I can see us running the ball that many times.

I see that receptions going like this:
    Lafell 5-7
    Dickson 2-3
    Running backs 3-4
    Other WR 4-6

So that's 14-20 completions per game. We utilize all of our weapons with multiple formations. I'm guessing we avg 32 points per game or somewhere in that neighborhood.
