Oh I think Miles is doing everything he can to keep Lee feeling comfortable as the starter. This is the second week in a row that JJ played early, then not again until the late 3rd/4th.

And I'm certain Lee has a good character and is a total team player. Still, the more confident he becomes, the more gunslinger he becomes, the more he's going to want to be on the field - especially during adversity.

I disagree completely. The way he carries himself tells me the total opposite. And I don't think anything can fluster his mentality at this point of his career. He also buys into the team thing and sees all of his fellow starters accepting their roles as well. Heck, we play about 60 guys in the first half alone and this team is cool with it.

I don't know ..... if the roles were reversed, as last year, I'd agree, but Lee has shown he's down for the team before himself.

I think that is just how it is when your not a "running" QB. IMO, Running QBs are more Nacissistic, wanting to "be the show" as opposed to wanting to be part of the show. ... like I said, that is just my opinion, and yeah ..it is full of bias because I don't like running QBs ... especially the primary running QB type. OTOH .. a Russell Wilson, who can burn you with his feet when the pocket breaks down, is another stroy.

Besides all that, I think Lee and JJ are probably buds. Lee wan't his bud to get some playing time. Rest assurred, however, if the stakes are down, JLee will be the QB behind center. He will want to be. He tends to have the tougher intellect in those situations, and I think everyone knows it.

But .. as CLM notes, it's nice to have another hand when one goes cold. You never know, if Lee goes cold, JJ may step up and be red hot. I think CLM is playing it right. AND .. CLM does have a point, ... opposing teams have to plan for JJ. That's like planning to defend two teams instead of just one.
