Had Wright held onto that touchdown in the 4th quarter, LSU would be ranked 7th and Lee would be 10th.

    Pretty incredible stuff.

I emailed cfbstats.com last night to correct the 3 passes that were changed from runs to pass plays vs Tennessee, which gave Lee and LSU another credit for a touchdown pass. They already corrected it.

Here was his response to my email from last night (the guy works on the weekend apparently):

    "Scott,

Thank you so much for letting me know about this. I've been working on doing a better job of automatically updating on stat corrections like these. Hopefully I'll get there soon.

This should be fixed when I update my website tomorrow. Please let me know when you see any other issues with the stats on my website.

I assume you're an LSU fan. Great game for you guys today.

    Marty"

Jarrett Lee is ahead of notables such as Matt Barkley, Brandon Weeden, Landry Jones, Nick Foles, Seth Doege, AJ McCarron, Aaron Murray, Tyler Wilson, Zach Colloras, Kirk Cousins, Mike Glennon and Ryan Tannehill.

I think the biggest revelation is that issy's name is Scott. Now I can't stop thinking of Seth green in Austin powers. "SCOTT!!!!"

Lee is definitely having a great year. Even more amazing is that he's throwing the ball 15 times less a game than Flynn in '07 but is averaging only 44 yards less a game. Flynn through 8 games had 14 TDs and 6 INTs. Lee has 13 TDs and only 1 INT. He also has the highest comp % for a starting QB in 5 years (better than Flynn).

I've always supported Lee and thought he got a raw deal in '08 but even I'm shocked by these stats. I keep wondering if Lee is really this good or if Miles is just a master puppeteer. He's certainly got the kid playing likes gun slinger.

Also. Is it just me or does anyone else want to see more of that quick pass to the outside to Shepard? That play has been there all year. Ware even scored on it against Tenn.

Amazing when we consider the past several years under a certain other OC. A little coaching up can work wonders, in combination with the right offensive philosophy and identity.

This pass play is being perfected by Lee's incredible accuracy in leading the receiver.

    Watch the replays.

Last year we would throw it high or in back of the receiver and disrupt the entire timing of that play.

This year, they have obviously practiced it to no end.

There's one obvious difference in this passing game over last year. Details.

The one obvious diffrence is that lee is getting three times the snaps and is being allowed to throw the ball. Our play action passing is awsome. Just think what could have been last year if lee would have thrown a play action pass instead of jj running the option. Replace every jj short side option with a lee play action pass and would we have lost last year?

We would have beaten Auburn last year with this passing attack.

Just go back to the Jefferson pass early in that game that should have gotten us inside their 15 yard line with a wide open Randle. Instead it's a poorly thrown ball that is intercepted. Such a huge play in the game. It kept us conservative from that point on on.
