That's an understatement. For the line to move that much that is big time bucks on LSU. Which from my take on Vegas's expertise might not be a good thing. The house usually wins. In this case I sure hope not.
they set the line so there would be a ton of cash on lsu right now. when people get desperate at the end of the week, they take the favorite. the money will start to even out.
The spread is crazy. Unfortunately, as I posted in the Florida spread thread, just about every time I think a spread is crazy, I'm proven wrong. So I've learned that betting with the crazy line is almost always a sure winner. That said, this spread is crazy! It makes me pessimistic about LSU's chances, but at the same time makes you want to put some serious money on LSU. I wonder what the hell Vegas is thinking? Was reading on one betting website that the crazy spread is scaring away action on Alabama.
whats so crazy about it. bama has won a bunch in a row at home, may have the best defense in the country going against a dude with a slow release and an offense who has been ranked almost last in the conference all year. id say its too low at 7'. but nicks conservative ways would keep me off it.
I agree. the more I think about it, the less crazy this line is. I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole for way too many reasons to list here but the reality is, we could lose this game by 2 touchdowns just as easily as we could eek out a victory.
i didnt think they would post below 40 but its at 38. right about where it should be. probably best to lay off it.
Its moving back to Bama back to -8 was down to 7.5. OU is moving up actually to 39 (Up from 38) Interesting to watch the line. I never bet on LSU or the O/U. Because if I bet the under I cheer for nothing to happen. I have been just drilled this week, Bowling Green scoring at the last second not only cost me O/U but also the Point Spread. I have lost more games in the last 8 days on the last second.
