these guys are really close because coaches and teams know what the spreads are. some always want to cover, some dont give a ****. did you watch indiana? thats about as bad a beat as you can get. getting 17' up 10 headed into the 4th and lose by 18. i know, because i had em. :sob::sob:
Yes it was a brutal weekend for me, I had already written that one down as a win, and had they just tackled that guy instead of letting him bust a 40 yarder with a minute left Iowa would have gone into take a knee and it would have covered. Plus Miami's last second TD pushed that over for a loss. I had big money on Ore State, so I took a bath, then went 1-5 in NFL. I lost more games this weekend on last second FG's, TD's or ones that looked perfect until the very last second... Saints did me no favors last night, although the over hit so I pushed.
I read an article this year thatVegas is taking a beating, mostly on NFL, but not doing well first half of the year on the sportsbook side. Vegas is THE WORST economy in the country right now, you can get some great travel deals at the moment. Casinos are not busy, and hotels are empty.
That is very true. Right now, in the NFL, if you bet the favorites they are winning 78% of the time. Not something that is very normal for Vegas.
yeah and i think they made three 3rd down conversions on the last possession (trying to run the clock out) with stanzi scrambling on a designed bootleg option. they ran the entire game so indiana sold out up the gut. stupid stanzi with 5 picks is given the option to throw then tucks it and runs. man that was brutal. and of course trying to run the clock out and the dude busts it. this happened a couple years ago or so. i cant remember if it ever balanced out. parity not so prevalent I suppose. rams, lions, raiders, chiefs, etc are at historical lows even for them.
I think the NFL hit is because there are so many bad teams, they cant make the spread big enough. Normally 14 is a huge spread for an NFL game, but with teams like the saints, NE, and a few others throwing up 45-50 points in a game, and no offense on the other side.....they cant adjust the line enough.
