IF YOU'RE INTERESTED... How much did it cost to attend events in the ancient Roman Colosseum....

Wow. Interesting. I didn't realize the 1958 championship was over Clemson.

You know, you are completely right, however, for me this will be an isolated moment that I don’t mind paying for. I’m taking my 16-year-old son, so hopefully we’ll have a experience that produces long lasting memories, we’ll get to see the team we are both passionate about in a potentially national championship season, a potential Heisman Trophy winner, just so many things! So, I’m spending a grand on tickets but I’m considering it my Christmas present and New Year’s celebration all in one!!:)

I essentially did this for the 2003 BCSNCG in the Dome. Of course, I caught the typical NO breaks on a lot of stuff, but I still spent coin and looked at it exactly as you are. As time has gone on, I have great memories of me and my brother having been at that game and the festivities leading up to it. Priceless. Of course, it worked out really well! ;).

Great post. I hope you & your son have a great experience and of course get to see the Tigers win in Atlanta.

Yeah sometimes we need to live a little. Wife and I saved up and planned to travel. I put in for DROP last May. She had a few more yrs but in August was diagnosed with a terminal disease with no cure and died 3 months later. One of the things I took from that is not to put all eggs in one basket and live a little today, too.

Wow, man, had no idea. That’s an incredible loss. It’s amazing to see how positive and fun you seem to be on here. Keep posting and making the most of your circumstances.
