You can't honestly favor the SECC team over a NC team in such a comparison before the SECC team actually won a NCG. Just because I think a proven NC team can beat an unproven SECC team doesn't mean my answer is going to change a month from now even if the SECC team wins the NCG. I never attacked anybody, I was defending my statements. If my defensive counterstrike seems more aggressive than his attacks, don't look for me to apologize. I knew exactly what you meant all along. Though it may not seem to you as a fair to you it is still a legitimate question. Since it may be an irrelevant question a month from now should Bama lose, now is just as good a time as any for me to answer it since my answer is the same no matter what.
tusk my bama boys do the same thing you know that elephant ain't got one ball!!! you got the AP mystical something but u aint' got a Ball!! nope we got 2 you got 0 I know you guys have hardware but don't tell me you got a BCS BALL it takes away what Tenn , Gators, LSU have and you don't!!! cliff:miles:
Well TC, if that is you personal perception, go for it. If things go well for us next month, my personal perception of the BCS will not change. I hate everything about it. Where is the playoffs? Until then I hope everyone, well not the viles, enjoy their Balls. Our 12 say enough, National champions!
I don't think Bama even wants a crystal ball, it would simply be too much to dust with all the other NC trophy's.:yelwink2: :hihi:
Honestly, I don't thing this year's Tigers could have hung with the '03 LSU team. However, this year's Tigers' second string (slight exaggeration) was close to beating the '09 Bama team. Therefor, I give the nod to LSU '03...I also think their O was stronger, as was their D (see: LSU, Tenn, and Auburn '09 competing with Bama '09...Bama has a good D, but it's not quite up to LSU '03 standards IMO).
Don't go out on a limb or anything. :hihi: I'm kidding, but on the real, of course the 03 team would dominate LSU's 09 team. The 03 team would shut down the run in the first quarter and it would be over by halftime. Remember the Auburn game in 03, LSU's defense dominated out of the gate, and then Tubby tried to go for it on 4th down early in the 1st half and got shut down, and the game was pretty much lost after that. The 03 defense was the best i have ever seen in purple and gold and maybe the best i have ever seen in college football.
LSU 3 times. if we played 10, LSU 9 out of 10. That was a Ron Zook team, with a freshman quarterback, they caught us napping.
