JOB needs some help inside...they're trapping him inside and making others beat them inside.

Not good at all, 0-4 start in SEC play. Thought the Tigers had improved... Oh well, still a long way to go.

Poor outside shooting and the lack of a more reliable inside game doomed LSU despite it being anyone's game till the very end. LSU suffers from not having an inside game. Del Piero is not really a go to guy.

I enjoyed watching the game for th efirst time this year, and I get the feeling that Johnny Jones is a good coach who can really develop players. If LSU can start nailing down the outside....watch out. They're athletic. It'l be interesting to see how their defense improves as the season progresses.

At the end of the game, our LSU radio announcers raved about the improved play of sophomore Johnny O'Bryant, our consensus 4-star McD All-American and Parade All-American, who was rated the #7, #9, #10 PF and #4 C of his class by the four major recruiting services

    This is how he did:

16 points - 5th best of his LSU career (he had 18 v Chattanooga this year and last year he had 17 v Bama, 18 v Arkansas, 21 v Northwestern of the Big Ten

14 rebounds - best of his LSU career

6-8 at the FT line (.750) - 3rd best of his LSU career

5-8 from the field (.625) - best in SEC play for his LSU career, 7th best of his total LSU career

34 minutes on court - tied for best of his career at LSU

    ...but the negative:

He had 5 turnovers, his 2nd worst in his career in SEC play and 3rd worst of his total LSU career

And to show you how dumb some Tiger fans are, this was posted last night on another LSU forum by a poster with 5,038 posts since 2005:

This one is probably the hardest loss in a
string of heart break losses. Absolutely
    sucks.
    Negatives:
    1) JOB's progression is atrocious.

This is how this guy did last night:

22 pts - 4th best of his Georgia career (had 25 v Tennessee and 22 v Bama last year, this year had 25 vs Southern Cal and 27 v Youngstown St)

6 steals - best of his career at Georgia

5 assists - best of his career at Georgia

3 rebounds - best in SEC play this season

...but also had 4 turnovers, the worst in his career at Georgia

I will have to say I was very impressed with JOB's game against Georgia. Big improvement. Just hope he can keep it up.
