dandydon homers? what you're describing sounds more like buddy songy. now i know you'd like to pick on a 70+ year old who's been blogging since before the term blog was invented, but he actually did criticize the coaches following this loss to arkansas.

    so really... you're an idiot.

You sure can see the difference in the crowd in this thread but I don't know if I'd call it garbage.
I also don't see anyone saying the team sucks.
There is obviously some truth in what dandydon has said.
Then you have the Gestapo people who want the thread deleted, there seems to be a lot more of this around here than there use to be.
Next we won't be allowed to voice our opinions on here unless you are on one side of the coin.

    food for thought

Please name me one team at any level of any sport that has won without "great players".

Pete Carroll wasn't sending out bologna sandwiches when he made his run. Those fellers at Florida last year, were pretty freaking good ball players as well.

Ohio State 2002... I can name like one maybe two players from that entire team.. and thats Gamble and Krenzel. They were well coached and played well together.

Maurice Clarett broke a few Big 10 records that year. Just 'cause he's a thug that threw away his football career, don't mean he wasn't a great player.

Ummm... Will Smith? He ran a faster 40 than Gamble. Kicker Mike Nugent and Safety Mike Doss are probably the more visible guys from that class after Smith. Receivers Michael Jenkins and Santonio Holmes who play for the Falcons and Steelers (respectively). Current Jet center Nick mangold was probably around, but I doubt he was starting. If Mangold was around that means Bobby Carpenter and AJ Hawk were around. S/LBer Cie Grant who sucked in the NFL was awesome in College. He broke up that play at the end of the game that won Ohio State's MNC.

    That team was loaded...

Sorry dude - you're wrong. The board just polices itself a little, that's all. Most of us enjoy that facet.

the reason I posted that here is because I new this place was full of dandydon-homers...those of us in the minority provide the perspective the homers lack her...most of you homers need to understand what you read instead of being emotional...  :hihi: :LSU231:
