Watching the UCF and UL game last night. Reminds me, in 2001, I made a call to talk with a friend that was coaching at the time. I asked what he was doing, he said, the same thing everyone on the staff was doing. Redoing their resume. That was the year George O'Leary got busted for padding his resume. Most of the coaches I know, went back and reviewed their resumes. No coach wants to get the job he wants, only to have a padded resume, kick him out of his dream job. Coaches were watching the Fax machines, like it was signing day. Schools were faxing information on times spent coaching at schools.

I do like the way this one ended.

O'Leary deserves another shot at a tier 1 program. Paid his dues, hell of a coach.

Well, like I said, this was in 2001 when it went down. Yep, it was resume redo time for coaches.

It makes me wonder how ND would've done if he'd kept the job.

True, can't get much more Irish than O'Leary.
