i dislike texass period. no offense to the people here that like texass, but i just cannot stand the place. i severely dislike the mentality of most texans. houston has to be the worst place i've ever been to. granted, it has its pluses. honestly though, as big as it is, there are bound to be a few things positive about it.
Most of you had it nice. I was born here in LA... then moved to Houston with my parents when I was a few weeks old for my dads job. Wasn't too bad... we were only a few short hours from home... we lived on the SE side of Houston where I spent a lot of my early years in Galveston crabbing, then moved to St. Louis in kindergarten... moved to Alabama in 2nd grade and then to Iowa for 6th through college, with a stint in the Army in between HS and College. Nothing is worse then being stuck in yankee doodle land (Iowa) with bland food, corn fed women with liberal ties and Big 10 football on every channel. I moved back down here with my ex wife and baby in 04... and haven't looked back since. Love it here and will prolly die here unless I am offered a better job somewhere else.
