True, but I meant it as rhetorical. I guess I should have been more specific, but kinda hard when you are really more excited about all that we have accomplished than you are at trying to make a completely correct statement.
You said, Louisiana=Title Town, then compared it to Florida and Boston. You also merged a Super Bowl with a college baseball title to fit your point. I'm sorry but I don't think Bostonians give a crap that LSU won a CWS title. Sorry if your statement made no sense. Congratulations though....
and no one outside of Boston gives two sh!ts that the Celtics have 84 retired jersey's hanging from their rafters. his point had nothing to do with whether or not yankees cared about our titles, just that we have had pretty damn good run in the last 10 years:
Certainly has been a great decade for Louisiana sports. Way to go Tigers and Saints!!! Hopefully this carries on into this decade.
Now Louisiana can truly be called "Sportsman's Paradise". And now include more than hunters and fishers when referring to our state motto.
And this I agree with, but not sure how comparing apples and oranges fits into the equation. Why are we measuring college championships to a pro sports town is my question? LSU has had a great run, and congratulations to the Saints fans as well. But calling college baseball one of the "3 big sports" is kind of silly in the grand scheme of things. Forgive me if I thought it was a goofy comparison.
