    She is from Harvey, outside New Orleans. She's the first African American to win Scripps and is a multiple Guinness World Record holder for various accomplishments in dribbling basketballs.

    Don't know how good her academics are, she is a late arrival to the spelling competition game. She may just be a spelling, basketball dribbling savant.
