Anyone got some insight into the Louisisana Derby? Below is the rundown of the race. If I were a betting man, I would take Elite Alex to win. I actually have no idea, but I related it to race car drivers, as long as you finish first, you get the best rides and have the longevity. Others jockeys go as long as they can and some leave before they want to for other postions like trainers or employment by organizations like the Jockey Club. Some retire with injuries, just like drivers. Recently, a couple of former jockeys have been apart of boardcast teams.
