He said the visit was 'alright'...Said he would have to adjust to living in a 'country town'...The coaches told him he could come and play right away, and he liked that, but any coach in the country is going to tell a stud like Holmes that...Did give the visit a '10' somehow...Said he became friends with Manley on the trip and would like to play on the same line as him. The scout article wasn't that bad, it was the first Rivals one where he basically sounded like he was eliminating LSU. But like philter said, it could be because Dunbar talked to him.
Okay well I went through the main site & got to read the article. He definitely sounded dissapointed with the lack of a "big city" atmosphere in Baton Rouge. Perhaps the players showing him around didn't take him to enough strip joints & keg parties. To me, it didn't sound like he was dissapointed in LSU at all, just that he would prefer to live in a bigger city.
"I had a lot of big expectations about what I was going to see at LSU, and I'm kind of disappointed. I guess that's why you take the visit to make sure." That quote pretty much sums up his chances of going to LSU IMO.
I was really hoping that we would get manley and Holmes. Looks like manley is a lock???? I still think rickey Francois is going to be great.
Got it off the premium TR board. Obviously wasn't true as it would have been announced by now, but I'd be floored if Manley went elsewhere.
