Shepard said Loston will make his official commitment at the end of his season according to Sonny Shipp. Sonny has been in contact with Shep and Loston multiple times since these reports.
Shep texted the same reply to Mike S, that it will be after the season. So basically 5-8 weeks, depending on how far his team goes into the playoffs.
My guess is he is as important a pickup in the secondary as Patrick Johnson (Peterson) was to us last year. That's saying a lot.
Terrific, but keep in mind that is merely a statement by his head coach. I won't breath easily until Loston makes it official.
Needless to say I hope this pans out, but how can ESPN accept a statement from a head coach as an official commitment? Just curious.
