And Tatum never apologized, even after writing 3 books about how great of an "assassin" he was. Tatum took a cheap shot in a preseason game and paralyzed Stingley from the neck down. You can no longer find video of the hit because the NFL has claimed copyrights. Seems they're not allowing the true nature of what kind of player Tatum was to be tainted.

I think most safeties that people recognize as great are kind of dirty.

Tatum was a special case though.

 

It happens, no doubt, but Tatum was ridiculous, and not the good kind.

Easily my favorite recruit of 2009 and cant wait to watch him play out his career as a Tiger. If he fills out like Laron did by his senior year...watch out!!

 

Ask Darryl Stingley about him. Although a flag wasn't even called on the play many consider The hit to have been a cheAp shot ending Stingley's promising career and rendering him a quadrapleic.

 

I dont have a problem at all with trash talking. Its part of the game. Its an advantage when you get in the head of your opponent. Now I do have a problem with someone like Coleman talking a lot of crap. He was constantly missing tackles and assignments. His angles were poor as well. Yet he talked a bit too much. At least Landry backed it up. He smacked you but often wrapped you up. Landry brought you down. On the other hand Coleman will miss a lot of tackles going for the big hit.

No doubt, Loston will be a superstar!
