just about all the people ok with it and arguing for exposure are out of state. go figure. tradition be damned even for one meaningful night game. get real. this **** sucks. they need to allow one game. its not very difficult for anyone involved. if michigan can play a damned night game at home that mattered, so can LSU. Regarding CBS, I think they can get better ratings in primetime but they get similar ratings at 2:30 along with the Murder She Wrote fans in this thread who watch this show after. then drinking their warm milk at 9pm and going to bed.
I'm not arguing exposure. I'm agreeing that LSU should play night games, but i'm trying to help explain why it isn't happening. As for Michigan playing a night game. Well....ABC loves their Big Ten darlings.
i know why its happening as does everyone complaining. the point is it can be negotiated and should be.
Do you honestly think that the rest of the SEC is going to sit idly on the sidelines while we negotiate special conditions with CBS, ESPN, and the SEC?
we got them to wear whatever jersey we told them in their own stadium. forever. anything is possible if enough fans here give a ****. and I think they do. you out of staters dont really matter.:rofl::rofl::rofl: see, that didnt really make it funny.
Well, I really doubt that can be negotiated. It's ashame, but when billions of TV dollars are involved, the CBS executives get to drive the bus.
